A New Step

Another week come and gone, now onto a long four day weekend, full of agility, sun (hopefully) and great friends.

However tiring and long this short week has been, I ended it on great terms.
Today, I got my full license!
Scary, yes. I was shaking for a good half hour after I passed.
All of that time was spent in Service New Brunswick, though.
And so when the super cool guy at the counter asked me if I wanted a new picture, I thought it would take longer to get out of there, so I said no. But It wouldn't have taken any extra time. And now I have to wait four more years to get a new picture from the one I took last summer. And that day, I just rolled out of bed and wrote my test...yikes.
Oh well, it'll be super exciting to get a new one when I'm 20, turning 21.

Also, last weekend we went to a seminar. I was super worried about going, because I felt I would be behind everyone (even though I know he's 2-6 months younger then all of them...). But it turned out to be a super riviting experience. We came home with tons to work on, but I saw lots of things that I didn't know he had in him. We tried brand new things, and he shone so bright.

Last Friday, I thought I would see how he would be on a full height dogwalk, and he took to it, right away. So Sunday night when I came home, I brought him out and he went over it with even more confidence and speed. Then I went out every day after school and worked with him for 5 or 10 minutes on the weaves, dw, aframe and teeter, and I see big improvements even in the one session. He's a star, I just have to believe.

Today is my mama's birthday :) She's the best.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM :) love youuu <3

Coolest ever.

I'll leave you with a cliche quote, but I still love it.

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."

Dirty feet and a sunburn...life is good.

Yesterday at least! It was soo amazingly awesome outside. 25 degres on my deck!!! 25!!!!!!! I spent all day outside! I did my homework out there, did yard work, trained the dogs, went for a 40 minute run! (40 minutes!!!) and just laid out in the sun! So great. I love spring weather.  Then we took the pups for a walk in the evening and met up with my aunt who was out for a walk as well. A perfect way to end the long weekend. :)

I have extremely fair skin, you'd swear I was a redhead. But no, through and through a brunnette, but I burn so easily! I'm outisde for like...10 minutes and guaranteed sunburn to be showing up soon enough. I'm so used to getting sunburns, I don't reall notice. I was so excited though, yesterday when it was showing up in the evening. I had this workout tank on, and my back has a lovely white strip down the center boarderd with two lovely shades of red. :)

yay :)

All We're Saying Is Give Peace A Chance -John Lennon

Mmm, Spring is in the air more than ever before! It is very beatiful out right now, a little chilly from the wind, but that didn't stop me from going for a 35 minute run! Adding a little time each time I go out. It's getting easier to move around now...it's great getting in shape :)

I had two more driving hours with my driving instructor, Sean. ..I don't like him. at. all. Ah well.

Make Love, Not War.
My friend came over last night. She's a beauty..looky

We're complete opposites, I don't understand how we're friends. But 14 years and still going strong :)

All we're saying is give peace a chace.

Catching up with old friends :)

Spring is in the air! I even changed the background...it felt more springy to me.
Me and my friend went for a walk with Macherdoodle this evening. It was nice getting out. It was really beautiful out today. It was really nice catching up with her. It feels like we haven't had one of our long conversations in far too long.

Tomorrow is my last day this week! YES!

Happy days!

This is my mom and her friend from middle school! Love it

Sunny Days

Oh I love the sun :)
We had almost no snow a couple days ago..we were so close to spring! Then...we recieved 25cm of snow. A full-blown snow storm on the first of April...aww c'mon man! It was ridiculous. But today is a beautiful day. We have company over, who are quite possibly the best people on this earth. My mom and her have been friends since, I think, they were 9. Amazing, huh?

I had my first driving hours yesterday. Kind of freaky, but not as bad as I had suspected. I have my next two hours on Friday. Sean, my driving instructor, is a little odd, to say in the least. I had him as the classroom-portion-teacher. But he was a lot more nerve-racking than before. I hate how people feel the need to be all dominant to get the respect. Like, dude, I'll respect ya, you don't have to be all alpha dog.

I'm going to go for a run now, it says it's 15 degres on the back deck with the sun shining. So beautiful. I can't wait until all this snow melts...again and school to be over! I counted and I only have four full weeks of school, the rest are four day weeks until exams. And then exams will be done, and so will grade 11 and life will be GRAND!

Wassup dude?

Have a beautiful day!

Oh and a video!

TOFFEE IS AWESOME.

Ozomatli, ftw.

Oh Toffee, you amaze me :)

YAY! I love agility trials!
It was so great seeing everyone this weekend. It's been a long, stupid, cold winter. Even though it was probably the coldest it's been all winter at the trial, it was still awesome! ...so windy.

Window shot on the way down.

Three and a half hour drives are no fun. But still worth it.

Friday night was Steeplechase, and of course, Toffee rocked it. It didn't get taped, I so wish it did. It was awesome.

Saturday morning came way too early. I honestly don't know how to sleep in anymore. We started with Gamblers, and Toffee kicked everybody's butts! She did that gamble like it was nothing. Yay for #26...:)
Then it was Team with mom and Bailey. Now...usually Bailey is just as awesome, except Bailey will be 12 in august. Bailey decided to not run awesome and had some other fun instead. hehehe ;) Ah well, Toffee ran great, that's all that matters.

This is how it went...

We then had Challenge, which is my absolute favorite course ever. AAC is becoming way too....not competetive. And the Challenge courses are the only real challenge anymore. This one, however wasn't challenging at all. Boo. Anywho, Toffee came first. Again. Yay. We finished the day with standard and it was basically the same course as Challenge, but without one or two little doohickies. Except she missed her aframe contact. You know, I never really trained/practiced me pulling off...best get on that, as this is not the first time this has happened. Sheesh.

We then went out for supper at The Chow (perhaps Choi...cannot remember) Family, a chinese restaurant of course and had an awesome yummy, way too greasy meal. Tony tuned my guitar, too. Which is super awesome, because it's been in my room for three months dying to be played. I'm excited to finally start playing.

Sunday came with gusto and even more cold. But that didn't stop Toffee from getting three out of three Q's! Two standard and one jumpers. So I now need 12 more standard for my lifetime...LIFETIME. OUR LIFETIME!!!! Pumped.

..okay, pictures are not uploading for some reason. Will come soon!
